失業支援覆檢申請下月8日截止

政府今日提醒仍希望就臨時失業支援計劃申請提出覆檢的人士在下月8日或之前聯絡熱線183 6128。截至昨日，計及二萬個覆檢後獲批的個案，計劃已批出約34萬宗申請。   政府表示，不少申請因未符合計劃資格被拒，但也有申請最初被拒是由於沒有提供足夠資料，或未能在指定時間內補交資料。就此，政府已行使酌情權，容許申請人在限期後補交資料。   當局接獲申請人的覆檢要求後，會安排專人以電話聯絡申請人直接取得所需補充資料，盡快完成覆檢，讓有需要和合資格申請人獲資助。   政府早前已邀請曾轉介覆檢個案予政府的工會和團體在本周內提交餘下的覆檢申請。由於或有申請人希望覆檢但未能及時提出，政府呼籲這些人士必須在7月8日或之前提出覆檢要求。他們可於周一至周五上午8時至下午6時聯絡熱線183 6128。
